Privacy Policy

ANGELFUEL is deeply committed to the privacy, security, and integrity of your personal wellness data. We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a personalized, emotionally supportive nutrition and wellness experience. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Your name and email address, used to create and manage your account.
• User account ID: A unique identifier assigned to your account for internal reference and data management.
• Wellness and nutrition information: Meal logs, nutritional records, wellness goals, and dietary preferences you enter.
• Health information: Hydration data, mood check-ins, energy levels, and related wellness metrics you choose to log.
• Meal photos: Photos you select for AI-powered nutrition analysis. These are sent to Base44's hosted AI processing service to generate a nutrition estimate.
• Journal and reflection content: Dream entries, notes, journal text, and other free-form content you create within the app.
• Usage analytics: Base44 first-party analytics including page visits, feature interactions, approximate location (region-level), device or operating-system information, referral information, and app activity. This is first-party operational data used to improve the app.
• Diagnostic and technical logs: Error logs and technical data used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app.

AI Processing Service

When you choose to analyze a meal photo, the image is transmitted to Base44's hosted AI processing service and its service providers. The purpose of this transmission is to generate a nutrition estimate (food identification and macro/micronutrient calculation). No meal photo is transmitted until you explicitly tap "Continue" on the AI consent prompt. You may decline and use manual entry instead.

We do not claim that the AI provider immediately deletes your photo, does not retain it, or does not use it for model improvement, unless that fact is confirmed by the provider's actual terms. We encourage you to review the provider's terms for details on data retention and use.

Third-Party AI & Food Information Providers

AngelFuel engages the following third-party providers to power specific features. Each provider receives only the data necessary to perform the requested function:

• Base44 Hosted AI Processing Service: Generates nutrition estimates from meal photos, wellness briefings, recipe suggestions, and daily insights. Receives meal photos and/or wellness context data you choose to process.
• Google Cloud Vision: Performs image recognition on meal photos to identify food items. Receives the meal photo image you select for analysis.
• Chomp Food Database API: Provides branded food nutrition data (macronutrients, micronutrients, serving sizes) for meal logging and search. Receives food search queries only — no user photos or account data.
• USDA FoodData Central API: Provides government-sourced food composition data for the food library and nutrition calculations. Receives food search queries only — no user photos or account data.

AngelFuel does not use any data sent to these providers for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking. Each provider's use of data is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

How We Use Your Data

• To personalize your Angelina AI guidance and wellness recommendations.
• To calculate your Alignment Score and Chakra progression.
• To generate wellness insights, briefings, and reports.
• To analyze meal photos for nutrition estimation (only with your explicit consent).
• To operate, maintain, and improve the ANGELFUEL experience.
• To send you in-app notifications and reminders you have enabled.

What We Do Not Do

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account). Account deletion permanently removes your wellness profile, meal logs, hydration data, chakra states, ritual completions, dream logs, emotional check-ins, notifications, discovery preferences, saved items, and all other user-owned records associated with your account.

You may also request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us at support@angelfuel.com.

We may retain limited deletion-request records, such as the request date, account identifier, completion status, and contact information, only as necessary to complete, verify, and document the deletion process.

Children's Privacy

AngelFuel is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. See our COPPA compliance page for details.
